May Benefit Concert

Dear Friend of the Catalpa Quartet,

At the start of the 2013-2014 school year, four 8th grade students from North Junior High School formed the Catalpa Quartet, a non-profit organization that assists Title I elementary schools in the Boise Independent School District with instrument repair. The District, though very devoted to musical education, does not have the necessary resources to properly maintain its orchestral instruments.

So far, the Catalpa Quartet has raised almost $17,000 toward this effort.

The Quartet, now juniors at Boise High School, will be performing their 4th Annual Benefit Concert on the BSU Campus at the Morrison Center Recital Hall (Room C-200) on Sunday May 21st, 2017 from 3:00 PM- 4:30 PM. This hour-long performance includes works by: Haydn, Beethoven, Grieg, and Debussy. The concert is FREE but donations will be gratefully accepted. Should you choose to contribute, receipts for your tax-deductible donation will be made available from the Boise Public Schools Education Foundation. We welcome you to join us for a reception immediately following the performance.

If you can't make it to the event, but are still interested in supporting our cause you may DONATE NOW. Under "Designation" choose other, then type in "Catalpa Quartet Fund".

On behalf of the financially disadvantaged elementary music students of the Boise School District, we hope you can join us for an afternoon of “Changing Lives One Note At A Time”.
